The Autoresponder feature in SenderWiz automates the sending of follow-up emails based on specific triggers. Unlike regular email campaigns, Autoresponders work based on conditions set during the confirmation phase, allowing for targeted and timely engagement with your subscribers.
The process to create an Autoresponder is very similar to sending a regular campaign in SenderWiz. However, instead of sending the email immediately or scheduling it for a later time, the Autoresponder sends emails automatically based on the specified conditions.
The Campaign Confirmation page for Autoresponders has some specific options that control how and when emails are sent:
Activate at: The date and time when the Autoresponder will be activated and begin monitoring for the trigger condition.
Autoresponder Event:
The Autoresponder Event feature in SenderWiz allows you to trigger automated emails based on specific actions or events. The available options for these triggers, as seen in the image, include:
AFTER-SUBSCRIBE This event triggers the Autoresponder when a new subscriber joins your email list. It is commonly used for sending welcome emails or onboarding sequences to engage new subscribers right after they sign up.
AFTER-CAMPAIGN-OPEN This option triggers the Autoresponder once a recipient opens a previous email campaign. It's useful for follow-up emails, such as sending more detailed information or special offers to subscribers who opened the first email, showing interest in the content.
AFTER-CAMPAIGN-SENT This event triggers the Autoresponder after a campaign has been sent. It can be used to automate a follow-up email, regardless of whether the recipient opened the initial email or not. It’s a good option for re-engaging recipients or providing more information after the first campaign.
These triggers allow for highly tailored and automated email flows, ensuring that your subscribers receive relevant and timely communications based on their actions or behaviors.
Autoresponder Time Value: The delay before the Autoresponder is triggered. You can set this value to any number, such as "0" for immediate triggering after the event or add a delay.
Autoresponder Time Unit: Defines the unit of time for the delay, such as minutes, hours, or days. In this case, it's set to Day, meaning the Autoresponder will trigger 0 days after the event.
Send only at/after this time: Allows you to specify the time window in which the Autoresponder email should be sent. For example, you can choose to send emails only during business hours.
Incl. imported subscribers: This option determines whether imported subscribers should be included in the Autoresponder sequence.
Incl. current subscribers: This option determines whether current subscribers should be included.
Send when opening this campaign: This option allows you to trigger an action when the recipient opens a specific campaign. When AFTER-CAMPAIGN-OPEN is selected, the option becomes visible, allowing you to trigger the Autoresponder when the recipient opens the campaign.
Send after sending this campaign: This option triggers the action after the campaign has been sent, regardless of whether the recipient has opened the campaign or not. When AFTER-CAMPAIGN-SENT is selected, the option will appears, triggering the Autoresponder after the campaign has been sent, regardless of whether the recipient opens it.
Autoresponders are perfect for follow-up emails, onboarding sequences, or any type of triggered email series. For example, if a recipient opens a Black Friday campaign email, an Autoresponder can automatically send them a follow-up email with personalized product recommendations or special offers.
This Autoresponder feature streamlines email automation by enabling condition-based triggers, making it easier to send timely and relevant emails to your subscribers.
